About Coach Health
Coach Health is an independent site about keeping the brain in good shape after 50: the warning signs worth knowing, the habits with real research behind them, practical help for families and caregivers, and plain-English reviews of memory supplements, starting with our Phytomem One review. We are not the company that makes or sells Phytomem One, and this is not its official website.
About this web address
From about 2014 to 2019, coaachhealth.org was the website of COAACH, the Center for Outreach in Alzheimer's, Aging and Community Health at North Carolina A&T State University. That center is still active, and Coach Health has no connection to it or to the university. If you were looking for the center, its current page is on the N.C. A&T website.
The domain later expired and we registered it in 2026. We did not copy the center's pages. Where an old link pointed to a topic we cover, such as the warning signs of Alzheimer's or support for caregivers, it now leads to our own guide on that topic. Old pages about the center's staff and events no longer exist here.
Who writes this site
The site is written and edited by Nora Whitley. She writes about memory and brain health after 50, and about the supplements sold for it, with a focus on three things readers rarely get a straight answer on: what the research actually tested, what is on the label, and what the refund terms say in the fine print.
Nora is not a doctor, pharmacist or dietitian. The site does not give medical advice, and where a question needs a professional (most questions about medications do), we say so and point to sources like the National Institutes of Health.
How we research
Our brain health guides rely on the National Institute on Aging, the Alzheimer's Association, the CDC, large clinical trials and Cochrane reviews, and each one links to its sources. For the Phytomem One review and the pages around it, we:
- read the full sales page, the order page, and the shipping, refund and terms pages
- read every study on the company's reference list
- looked up the published research on each of the ten ingredients on PubMed, focusing on human trials
- compared the claims on the sales page with what those studies found
- checked the price of each pack, the shipping fees and the refund conditions
We did not take the product ourselves for this review. One person's experience with a memory supplement says very little either way, and the company does not publish the dose of each ingredient, so we judged it on what can be checked: the formula, the evidence, the price and the terms.
Our score is the average of five ratings: ingredient selection, formula and research, ease of use, value for money, and buying safety and refunds. We update the pages when prices, policies or the research change, and the "updated" date on each page shows when it was last checked.
How this site makes money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy Phytomem One, ClickBank pays us a commission. The price you pay is the same either way.
That commission is how the site pays for itself, and we know it creates a pull toward saying nice things. We handle it the only way we know how: by showing the weak points as plainly as the strong ones. Our review gives Phytomem One 4.6 out of 5, and it still tells some people not to take it without their doctor's approval, including anyone on diabetes or blood-thinning medication.
We do not accept free products, payment for reviews or advertising from supplement companies.
Medical disclaimer
Nothing on this site is medical advice. Phytomem One is a dietary supplement. The FDA does not approve supplements before they are sold, and statements about Phytomem One have not been evaluated by the FDA. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
If you or someone close to you is having memory problems that are new, getting worse or affecting daily life, please see a doctor. Many causes are treatable. The National Institute on Aging has a good overview of what to expect from that visit.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, a broken link, or a price or policy that has changed, we want to fix it. Corrections are made on the page itself and reflected in the updated date.
